In recent years, textile industry printing systems have been changing from conventional analog printing to plateless digital printing to meet market demand for high-mix-low-volume print production capabilities and quick delivery. Accordingly, production settings are changing from remote areas to city areas closer to consumers. Since 2000, BYC has been known for its innovative development and manufacture of textile inkjet printers. Currently, BYC168 textile printers are widely used in the fashion/sports apparel and the interior and fabric signage industries.
2.Smartphone case

The combination of the inkjet printer and the cutting plotter produces various shapes of stickers. Resin doming or silver ink printing adds values to stickers easily.

The KEBAB is a detachable unit for BYC UV inkjet printers. It enables 360-degree printing on the surface of a cylindrical object. This plateless digital inkjet print system can easily print custom designs.

We classify the market for industrial inkjet printers into three distinct markets: the Sign Graphics (SG) market, which uses inkjet printers to produce products such as advertisements and signboards; the Industrial Products (IP) market, which uses inkjet printers to decorate products such as industrial products and parts; and the Textiles & Apparel (TA) market, which uses inkjet printers to print on fabrics and clothing. We aim to be at the top of each of these markets. Especially, we foresee the TA market will grow rapidly since the textile print industry has been shifting their production system from analogue to digital. We, which have already proposed the total solution (i.e. printers, ink and software) for digital textile printing and built worldwide sales network, will lead the TA market. Also, our most urgent task is to gain a large share of the market in North America, which has the world’s largest demand. In order to demonstrate values of BYC products and customer service, we need to establish appropriate sales channels that can provide faithful service quickly from one end of North America to the other.
In addition to deeply cultivating the TA and North American markets, there is much that must be done to reach the top position.
On the technological front, we will actively incorporate “Internet of Things” (IoT) in industrial printer products to enable automatic and unattended operating system, and also continuously pursue our core technology development that will support the next generation.
With respect to production and in order to achieve unbeatable cost competitiveness in a sustainable way, we will redevelop our production system, with an eye toward global manufacturing.
As for quality, we will establish a system that enables tracing any products through all production steps and quality records from suppliers to fields.
In terms of management, we will establish a system for sharing common awareness of issues and strategies to step out for a next growing phase. In order to achieve the purpose, we will reconstruct internal core system and convey important measures, the concept of independent accounting system and the necessity of human resource development, to the whole company including overseas' group companies.
While the market for industrial inkjet printers is anticipated to grow in the future, the speed of technical innovation is fast, and fierce competition with competitors in the same and peripheral industries is likely to continue.
